What would your last words be to your loved ones? In touching videos taken on his cellphone, Kevin Diepenbrock, 41, originally from Greenville, Texas, says his final goodbyes to his family after he and another motorcyclist crashed on a stretch of U.S. Highway 129 known as “The Dragon” on Oct. 15, 2016, and tumbled down a rocky embankment. Diepenbrock, who suffered two punctured lungs, 17 breaks in 12 ribs, and multiple spinal fractures, was found more than 24 hours after the crash. The other motorcyclist, Phillip Polito, 29, of Perryville, Mo., died. (Video courtesy of Kevin Diepenbrock)

Way to man up. Dude was sure he was dying and still had the nuts to put a goodbye on his phone for his kin. Sorry for your friend, bud, but I'm glad you made it out alive.

I love the Dragon. Lived there most of my life. That video proves they should put cell towers up thru there so that whole stretch has cell service…

You got to tell me this man's got a cell phone and instead of calling the cops or 911 rescue for help he decide to make a video instead of calling for help. I believe this video is a real fake BS oh I'm dying video because he didn't have enough sense to call 911 for emergency help. I'm sure if he was conscious and sensible enough to make a video he has enough sense to call emergency 911 for help. Nice try but I guess you just trying to get people to subscribe to your channel so you can make some money LMAO. It's f*** up that you would put something like this on here to try to get subscribers or to make money by exploiting somebody's death if that really happened which I truly doubt oh, hell is probably the guy making this video YouTube page. He looks a little banged up and yeah that might happen but I don't think you was stupid enough do not call 911 for help and I'm sure the other motorcyclists would have seen some kind of wreckage on the road stating that there was a motorcycle that might have went down because we are smart enough especially when you're around an area where there's a lot of motorcycle in that area doing what they do on the Dragon's Tail. But this is a BS I'm dying video.

couple summers ago they found a guy and his motorcycle down the side of a mountain 11 years after he went missing somewhere in the Santa Cruz mountains. probably not the only one down there.

Ah man, those poor guys. What a LONELY, dark, helpless, & despairing feeling that must be, laying there alone all night. I wonder if he saw, or if he had assumed his friend was dead at that point…
    Poor thing.

I rode the dragon. I saw people pulling stunts that were just stupid. There are logging trucks on that road. I saw a kid running thru curves on a crotch rocket at high speed that had no chance of stopping if he ran up on a truck. I am 60. I started riding when I was 8. I have had family and friends killed riding. Every one was because of high speed or alcohol or both. Be stupid, be dead. Glad this one made it.

Dude, thank God you were found alive. I'm so sorry for the loss of your buddy. Damn, you're strong. That's the Will to Live! Amazing. But, tragic still. Please take care.

It would make sense if GoPro and other adventure cameras had an inbuilt tracker of some sort, after all a lot of adventure seekers get their thrills and spills in remote areas.Edit definitely says in the description it was his cell phone,I don't think he's a complete moron and not try 911 first.RIP Kevin

I've ridden the dragon multiple times. It's literally in the middle of nowhere and falling off one of those Cliffs is always a threat. God bless this man.

He obviously must have also broke the dial out button on his cell phone…. Why didn't he just phone the police and give them his gps coordinates… It almost smells FAKE. How are you gonna be that long-winded with 2 punctured lungs and 17 broken ribs…!!?

This broke my heart ❤️. What an ordeal I’m seeing this and crying. Laying there helpless for so long. When he said I could use a drink of water. That was sad. So sorry for the lost of his friend. I’m a nurse we want to help not let anyone suffer like this. Thank God for the ppl that found him. Hope he made a full recovery.
